This is no way to run a business.
Unless your business is heaven, and your business plan is righteousness, and your commodity is forgiveness, and your mission statement is “whoever believes in me will not perish but have eternal life.”
God is not about wages for which we receive our due -- for the wages of sin is death.
God is about gifts, about justifying the ungodly, about forgiving and giving, blessing the messing, reckoning as righteousness.
And an open tomb on a day such as this is the evidence, the proof, of that business plan in place. Death has been put to death, we who were dead in our sins have been set free -- indeed!
Absorb that truth, live in that joy, dwell in God’s promise.
