Happy Presidents' Day.

We could use a happy President.

Do not think the animosity of one side over the other in our presidential administrations is more intense than ever before. It always has been there, but our technology is able to create it, announce it, shout it, duplicate it and spread it with far more efficiency than ever before. Trending used to mean something that happens over time; now it is whatever everybody is rushing to join in on.

Jefferson and Adams did not speak to each other for years because they so opposed the other's political view, and they wrote the Declaration of Independence together -- Jefferson's hand, Adam's instigation. They somewhat reconciled and in a burst of Godly grace, both died on the same day, four states apart, on the 50th anniversary of the the Declaration's declaration!
